The Police in Philadelphia has released photos of the four suspects arrested in connection with the murder case of a Ghanaian resident, Nana Yaw Opoku known publicly as Junior US.
Junior US, a staunch Shatta Movement member, was murdered a couple of months ago by unknown attackers after he invited some prostitute over to his house to have some fun, minutes after he flaunted bundles of cash on his social media platform.
According to sources, the money Junior was flaunting was not even his but just wanted to show it off since his party is coming up and it was agreed that he would return the money to its owner after showing it off.
According to the Police, the armed robbers shot the victim, 33-year-old Junior US, and fled leaving him to die on the spot in cold blood.
In the CCTV footage released by the Police after his death, it came to light that three women were with Junior US at the time of the shooting who fled the scene with the male suspects in a grey Chevy Malibu.
Police have, however, arrested four suspects – 16-year-old Christina Zogar of Southwest Philadelphia, 20-year-old Tejan Sherif of Collingdale, 21-year-old Abdoulaye Doucoure of Old City and 22-year-old Alfred Bangor of Center City.
The Police say Zogar was arrested on May 22, Sherif on June 18, Doucoure on June 27 and Bargor on July 22. All have been charged with murder, robbery, criminal conspiracy, and related offences.
