J.Derobie wins ‘Double’ at the 2020 3Music Awards

J.Derobie, a Reggae/Dancehall prodigy has beaten the likes of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Samini to win a double at the third edition of the annual 3Music Awards.

J.Derobie took home the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year and the Reggae/Dancehall Act of the year with his raving success dancehall song, ‘Poverty‘ which was his debut song.

This is the second time an artist has won the two categories and the first time an artist has done the double over Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale since the inception of the awards.

Be that as it may, ‘Poverty’ was on record the biggest Dancehall Song in the year under review, which got an international remix with Popcaan to merit the honor.

After hearing the news, and energized J.Derobie took to his twitter handle to demonstrate his appreciation to the 3Music Awards coordinators and to dedicate his success to his fans and all Ghanaian’s.

He wrote, “I wanna say a big big thanks to @3musicAwards for this award.., I dedicate this to my fans and all people who love this song… ❤️ Ghana to the world”
