Ghanaian veteran HipHop rapper and CEO of Nu Afrika Records BALL J in an interview sited by maxtymelive.com at an event which was the premiere of CJ BIGGERMAN’s Ep The Bigger Picture, says that there is an Academy and a secret society in the music industry that propels the “Big Acts” and that when one is not part of this society, the industry players or Gatekeepers will not help you get up there regardless of how talented one is.

The rapper said he told EDEM his big brother that, he wanted to be at the Grammys but Edem questioned told him he ain’t gonna be there unless you join them. He further stated that even though Shatta wale were at Korle-Gonno in the days of Azonto, he did not make it till he discovered his fanbase and worked towards it.

All that the rapper was trying to point out is that when you are doing music, you must be creative, create your fanbase, sound different from the others and definitely the fanbase will promote you to the top.
